Abstract
The presentation will focus on refined and effective methods for experimental analysis of operant behavior. Development of effective experimental methods goes hand in hand with development of methods of data analysis. A brief sketch of the history of single-case research designs will be outlined along with selected empirical examples. The presentation will outline several examples of basic and advanced issues in experimental design and data analysis that go into considerable detail on short time scales. So-called molecular analyses of behavior will be compared and contrasted with molar analysis op behavior. Single-case research will be compared and contrasted with between-group research, and examples will document when between-group research is relevant for large-scale societal implementations of behavior analysis methods.
