Abstract
Experimental analysis of culture may investigate independent variables involved in two levels of selection: Individual and cultural. Experimental analysis of individual behavior are well established in the field of Behavior Analysis, and its basic principles are used to explain the evolution of cultural practices (e.g., Biglan, 1995; Skinner, 1953). Experimental analysis on a cultural level of selection is still in its early stage, however. Many of the published material reported in the literature for the experimental study of cultural selection are on human participants. The current work is aiming to present a preparation designed to study group behavior using non-human animals.
